Who We Are

Charlie Hooper began publishing The Mutual Fund Strategist, a Vermont-based investment advisory newsletter, in 1982. In 1985, the very first year it was monitored, Hulbert Financial Digest rated The Mutual Fund Strategist #1 among all newsletters tracked.

Charlie was joined in 1986 by his daughter, Holly Hooper-Fournier, and together this father-daughter team established a money management program for the benefit of subscribers who had neither the time, discipline, or inclination to follow the newsletter recommendations themselves. In 2006 Holly assumed the helm as sole editor of The Mutual Fund Strategist.

The Mutual Fund Strategist Ltd is proud to be one of a small group of investment advisers who have been publishing a newsletter for nearly four decades.
